what can threesixty do for you?

threesixty accredited as an IFP CPD Provider

The role of the Supervisor, is often the most challenging in a firm, especially in small, specialist firms of Financial Planners and IFA’s

To help firms get to grips with this issue, threesixty have designed and are delivering a series of intense, practical workshops which will not only explain and demonstrate how the role of supervisor can add commercial as well as regulatory value, but will assess the Supervisors ability to deliver this value.

Clients of threesixty will be able to attend a number of two day workshops in Manchester, London, South Wales, Edinburgh, Milton Keynes and Bournemouth

The accreditation of these workshops means that threesixty services are now the only non Product Provider accredited as a CPD Provider by the Institute of Financial Planning.

Phil Billingham, Strategy Consultant at threesixty, who will be delivering the workshops, commented ‘Business change, and TCF implementation, depends on the Training and Competence scheme. A scheme is only as good as the Supervisors who deliver it. This workshop is specifically designed to improve Supervisory skills in a small firm environment.’

What can threesixty do for you? Qualifications

RDR, CP 09/31, was published in December 2009 and has stated that to increase professional standards within the Financial Services industry there is a need to increase the minimum level of Appropriate Exams from QCF Level 3, currently certificate level, to Level 4 Diploma level.

Since this time the examining bodies have been working tirelessly to write and maintain these Level 4 exams designed to satisfy the learning outcomes, as described by the FSA.  This CP detailed that those existing advisers who have attained a QCF Level 4 qualification currently in use by the end of 2012 can continue to trade so long as any gaps relative to the new knowledge requirements are also met.

There are now several different routes to Level 4. At threesixty we are working closely with all the professional bodies and will continue to support our clients no matter which route they decide is best for them.
